Re-enable Engagement Excel Addin

Symptom: If you open an Engagement Excel file and the Engagement tab is missing or the title of the file shows incorrect on the top of the window, please do the following:

Check for Excel in Task manager, and force close it. CTRL + Shift + ESC - this may solve your issue.

  • Save and close all Excel files open.
  • Open Excel outside of Engagement (either the Citrix excel app or the desktop version on a laptop).
  • In Excel, go to File - Options - Add-ins
  • Under Manage, choose Excel Add-ins, click Go.

  • Make sure the Epace addin is selected.
  • Go back to File - Options - Add-ins, Under Manage select COM Add-ins, Click Go
  • Make sure the Pfx.Ribbon.ExcelAddin is selected, click OK
  • IMPORTANT: Close Excel and reopen workpaper to see if the issue is fixed.
  • If you are still having issues, make sure that nothing is in disabled items. You can check this by going to Add-ins, Under Manage select "disabled items" - Check the add-in to re-enable it.
