3CX - Soft Phone Information

1 Status - This is where you can change your status.

2 Phone Selection - This is where you change what phone is being prioritized. (DeskphoneCTI, 3CX Application, Softphone.)

• Softphone: Allows you to make and receive calls through your PC or laptop without the need for a desk phone.
• DeskphoneCTI: CTI mode enables you to make and receive calls from the deskphone, as well as control the device through the app.

3 Contact Search - You can search for contacts here to call.

4 Key Pad - This will open up a keypad to dial by number.

5 Groups - All groups will have ^ next to them if they are opened. You can collapse these for more concise view.

6 Settings - This is where you can access settings. The setting that will be the most important will be Status Configuration.

7 Status Configuration - You can set different settings based on each different status that you may fall under at any time.

8 Themes - For those who would like dark mode, this is where that option can be found.

1 Hold - Place the current call on hold. Hold music will be played.

2 Transfer - will transfer the call without the need for you to speak to the receiver, a “Blind Transfer”.

3 Keypad - will allow you to dial in another caller.

4 Mute - this will mute you so that no voice is transmitted.

5 Video - will elevate your call to a video call with the additional option of screen sharing

6 Att. transfer - will transfer the call after you first speak to the receiver to see if they accept the call.

7 Conference - allows you to create an ad hoc conference call, adding more participants to join the conversation.

8 Rec - allows you to record your conversation.
