Microsoft Auth. Information

Microsoft has started to require Multi-Factor Authentication on all accounts.

When you log-in to your Office(Outlook, Excel, Word..) applications outside of the office, this is required.

Upon first login to Office.com, or any office application, outside of the office, you will be prompted to set-up Multi-Factor authentication. The dialog box below will let you know that this is the case.

Once you click "Next", you will be greeted with a page to set-up Multi-factor Authentication.

Please click "I want to use a different Authenticator app" - This is very important!

Add the account in your DUO Mobile App on your phone by clicking "Add +" in the top right.

This will prompt you to select how you want to set-up the code. Select "Scan QR Code" at the top.

Scan the QR Code with your application and once complete, select "Next" it will have you verify it.

You should be good to go now!

*Please Note- If you have already set-up the Microsoft Authenticator, that is fine and we will be streamlining this in the next Microsoft 365 update.
